Olivia has lived in Colorado since 2014, working with young people and education systems in various capacities during that time. Olivia has her Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and was a math teacher for a few years before realizing her true passion lies in building relationships with students. She went to graduate school and received her Master's in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2018. Olivia believes that post-secondary education is a powerful tool to eradicate many inequalities, while also being a flawed system that is not set up for all students to succeed. Olivia is passionate about helping students navigate these broken and inequitable systems, while learning about their strengths and passions in the process.

In her free time, Olivia can usually be found outside, whether she is hiking, snowboarding, playing volleyball, or hanging out with friends at a park. Olivia comes from a large family and spends as much time with them as she can. She also loves the Fast and Furious franchise, teen fiction books, and playing her blue piano.

Favorite College Experience: "I went to Auburn University when the football team won the National Championship, and was able to attend the game! While I wouldn't call myself an avid fan, it was still such a powerful and fun experience. I loved going to sporting events in college because it made me feel connected to so many people cheering for the same team."

Advice for High School and College Students: "Try new things! This is such a unique time in your life where there are so many opportunities available to you. Take a random class that sounds interesting, try a new sport, join a club, study abroad, etc. Even if you don't end up loving it, you will learn so much in the process."

Favorite Food: "I am mostly vegetarian, but can never say no to a corndog!"
